As communications become more sophisticated, businesses need to be smart if they want to grab attention and differentiate themselves from competitors. But they also need to be confident that their messages make an impact for the right reasons.

While businesses are only too willing to spend time and money on design, what they say about themselves is rarely given the same attention. Consequently, companies (sometimes unwittingly) produce badly written websites, corporate collateral, marketing tools and intranets. Not only does this give out the wrong signals, but it can damage brand equity and negatively affect customer perceptions.
