Beauty in the banal; meaning in the mundane.
I have always written. Aged eight, I would present my parents handmade copies of Are You Bored?, a publication I believed to be packed full of gripping stories, inventive recipes and insightful articles on my chosen topic du jour. It was natural then, that I went on to graduate from Middlesex University in London with a degree in Writing & Publishing.
As a student I freelanced for a variety of independent, off-beat UK style magazines and also spent a short time working at The Times newspaper. I then took a job as lead writer on a trade publication where I cut my journalistic teeth, worked my way up to assistant editor and learnt how to successfully run and produce a magazine.
In 2000 I moved to Switzerland, joining a global communications agency as in-house copywriter. Over the next six years I worked for many blue-chip clients across Europe, writing and managing large international projects.
Still based in Switzerland, I now work as a freelance copywriter, servicing a variety of international design and advertising agencies, as well as local businesses. I am truly passionate about what I do, and ten years' experience as a writer means I bring expertise, commitment and professionalism to any project that I take on.
